Randy Rottman, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and the founder of Rottman Eye Care in Grand Junction, CO.
After receiving his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1985, Dr. Rottman completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Then after serving patients in Grand Junction for 30 years, Dr. Rottman opened Rottman Eye Care in 2007 to continue offering high quality eye care and service to his community.
In addition to serving his patients at Rottman Eye Care, Dr. Rottman is also very involved with the non-profit Vision Health International (VHI). Dr. Rottman has been involved with the organization for 33 years, including 32 years of service as a board member, 6 years serving as Board President, and currently serving as VHI’s Medical Director. VHI’s mission is to bring high-quality eye care to underserved communities around the world, a mission Dr. Rottman believes strongly in. Dr. Rottman is also involved in Grand Junction non-profit Eureka Math and Science Center.
Dr. Rottman is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has 37 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology.
Dr. Rottman has 4 children and 2 grandchildren who keep him busy! When he’s not working, he enjoys working in his yard, playing pickleball, and entomology.
